Hi guys,
I have decided to get the eber going. In stupidity i have lost the bit of paper i did with what cable went with what when i took it apart before paint . I have had a look at the wiring instructions and it does not equate to the what I have. Well, part doesn't anyway. Here are the pics of what i have,




I know pic 1 plugs into pic 2 and am pretty sure the yellow one was interupted by a stat so plugging them together shouid bypass it as all it was was a domestic bimetal. Please correct if i am wrong but
Brown = -ve
Red = +ve
Yellow = start up signal
I have run a new 30 amp cable to the heater from the battery as everything in the van was a bodge so would i damage it if a attach the yellow and red together to the new +ve if fused correctly to get it running?

This is where it gets interesting. These two with crimps on disappear through the grommet at the back and i remember they were connected to a normal plug.

I am left with these. I presume the red crimp goes on the red of this and the black to brown but cant be sure. I also remember there being some cables strapped to the bulk head.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have just found a switch at the front in the dash ( always wondered what it did ) in when pulled makes a connection between red and yellow at the plug by the heater itself so i take it the is how it is operated. I cannot find a fuse though as the manual says it should be a 30 and signal fused to 5. ( yet another bodge i think )

Correct, with a 16A main fuse not 30A (200w divided by 12v) (and if you keep the dashboard on/off switch)
Where did you get the 30A fuse from? 30A cable is fine as it keeps voltage drop down.
Where does the signal fuse come from? Do you mean the one in the ecu? Which should be a tt4 fuse - fast acting 4A.
Do you have any other controls like a timer?

Instead of paper, next time take photo's!

wich cables does the pump connect too? i can get it to click if i give it 12v but not sure if it connects to the green wires or the red and brown?
fuel line is not connected anyway so i need to source a T piece and some fuel line for that as well.
i meant it was a 25A fuse with a 5 amp signal looking at the diagram on this, p 12
not sure if this is even my heater though

Wrong heater! That's a B1Lc - the compact version. The pump connects to the two green wires. I don't know where the red and black go though.

I have had it running and i got a click from the pump so i reckon all is good. All i have to do now is T in and hopfully some heat. The red and black are from the pump so i just need to connect em to the greens. From your previous post you say that they are not polarity concious so aint got that to worry about. Not sure what that othe plug with a red and Browns are but not too worried. Maybe it was the browns that were strapped down as i am sure something was but they bell out anyway.My van has got a lot of strange stuff on it. most of it needed fixing though.
