hi all im just about to start the interor refurb on my van the headlining in the rear is carpeted and looking a bit dated my question is this.. is the headlining made out of the same material the doorcards are like a thick cardboard type material because mine has started to droop a bit ? is it possible to replace this with a thin piece of plywood that will bend to the contour of the roof ? ( its a tintop by the way ) thanks in advance jeff

I did that once in a 68 bay van. I used 3mm mdf if I remember correctly. Make sure to varnish both sides of the mdf before you fit it or it will twist and warp over time due to moisture and condensation etc.
