Rear seatbelts on Rocknroll bed

Can anyone tell me do we have to have rear seatbelts for new MOT regs? 
You do not need to fit seat belts for passengers in the back.
But, as I didn't want my nearest and dearest passing by my left ear in the event of a collision, the first thing I did when purchasing my van was to fit seatbelts.
