Hi i have just become the proud owner of a vw t25 and i am in the process of a full interior re-vamp. The problem i have is whilst carrying out this we are now going to welcome a new addition into our family which already consists of 4, so another seat is needed. Iwas looking to go down the route of putting a bench seat in the front to allow 3 seated up front. I am looking for any advice availible on this conversion or any links or photo's which may help with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated and in the future i would be able to upload some photos of my progress....Thank you once again....Gareth.

idealy you need a bulkhead or at least a bar for the factory bench to fit.
if your really creative look up " westfalia so34 flip seat " i`m planning to do this mod to my doka.

That would be cool - keep us posted if you manage to pull that off

You can fit strengtheners to the corners/sides of a factory double-seat to keep it upright. The double seat fits straight onto the runners.

With the strengthening issue, I take this is not necessary if the bench seat supports it's self I.e if it was a transit bench seat which does not need support.....thanks guys for your replies by the way...
