HI
I have a clock that is part of the dash, with the temp gauge and fuel gauge
It doesn't work.
Any ideas where to go and how to fix.
Is it a common fault and is there a quick fix

check the fuses.

the clock and pcb can fail , along with fuses and connector

remove the dash pod- this can create big problems if its been bodged before but simple if all good


on the back of the dash the clock has a simple + and - feed , wire this to 12v and see if the clock works.

also follow the tracks on the pcb and check for - and+ feed

no , plastic cover comes off upwards, then dash unscrews.

heavy handedness will break items.

at the rear ( windscreen end) there are 2 indents , lift first from these

sometimes a little pressure on the front upper edge pushing towards the screen can help

when refitting you position the front and drop the rear - if that makes more sense to understand?

OK. Had a nose in there.
There is no supply to the clock or the internal lights for the dash.
There are also 2 wires not connected on the back of the headlight switch.
A small grey and green, and a larger grey and yellow. Does anyone know what these are for.
All switches work except the after market one, which I still don't know what it is supposed to do, although there is no 12v supply to it.

Does it have, or did it have a towbar??

May be a turn indicator repeater.
