Rear Bulkhead Removal

Hello again
I have a doka 1990, and was wondering if I can remove part, or all of the rear bulkhead that sits between the front and rear passenger compartments.
I know my mate removed the one in his landrover, but then reinforced what was left with a specialist piece.
Thanks for any info

Its been done by a few people. There is a particular process to it, and can be tricky to get right. Search the forums to see if anything pops up?

mines got one. Kids want it out and it makes no sense to me.
Will leave the lower part in as it has some vents which I will no doubt figure out what they are for
will get pic tomorrow and also of a strange switch on the instrument cluster that is confusing me
More later.............

Here's the switch that I don't know what is. Doesn't seem to work but curious what it might have done

and here's the bulkhead I am thinking about removing. Any thoughts ideas or tips how to would be appreciated.
Many thanks

switch is non factory, aftermarket , has been fitted in the handbrake /brake fluid low warning lamp space.
switch is for a rear demister but can be wired for anthing , - extra roof light?
cut the bulkead out chissel /grinder and flush the spot welds with a sanding disc on a grinder ect
you have to cut the bulkhead as its the van you need to keep.

well bought it cos it was relatively cheap and needed tidying
I like pottering so will do all the tidying
Was thinking I would strap 2 surfboards to it and then sell it at our local surf spot in the summer
Somehow I feel it's not gonna happen as I love it.
Slow purposeful and feels like it would go all day with an odd top up of oil.
Need to get some piston rings and decoke set and see what happens
Will let you know tho...............if

No no not the van , I was refering to the moulded duct that runs from the heater along the floor to the rear..
