I'v tryed to force up the leaver up as much as i dare with out braken any thing, when i pull the inside door lach to open the door it seems conected but does nothing, & also the trigger button on the outside handale just move freely it got no force to it. Is their any way i can get to it all, as i can not even open the door, i don't wanna have too cut the door off their must be something i can do. please help

I have a funny one with my door too.
Sometimes when it's locked, if you press the outside trigger it jams.
You then have to jiggle the key and press the trigger repeatedly until it moves.
Dunno if that helps but thats all I know

Hello Chris
Are you able to unlock the door yet?
Have you tried the 'coathanger method'? As you've got the door panel off, you can see where the handle is, or was, connected to the release rod. you get a wire hanger and manoeuver it around the door handle release rod and pull up,or sideways, and this should open up the door.
Once the door is open, you can fix or replace anything that is broken.

Am I understanding this correctly - you cannot unlock the door as opposed to it being unlocked already but the door handles won't release it?
