Any good spots near Buxton ? Staying at the Duke on Friday night, good walk on Sat then plan to find a sleepy spot for the Sat night between Buxton and Nottingham.

You can get away with it in Hayfield. I have slept in the car park outside the Oak or up the Kinder Road.

There is a nice layby (away from the road) overlooking the resevoirs on the Buxton to Whaley Road.
