yes lloyd. made him an offer when i looked at it a few weeks ago. he promised to let auction run then he pulled it saying he was going to commit to sorting it. when i priced it all up for him he offered it to me again. didn`t get it for what i wanted but met him somewhere inbetween.

90k on the clock and it drives like new. vc is stuffed after mismatched tyres. shame.

just a sika to buy now and i`ll have a full set.

Top effort pal.

Let me know if you take it to work tomorrow, will try and call over.

You def made a good choice even though there is a fair bit to do.

Bring on the Green Lanes in Mid Wales, no more worries about height and clearance for a loaded up poptop.

Hope you have left enough in the kity to keep the red sika in Wales. Not sure it would be a happy syncro if moved to Surrey, away from farm life etc...

Cheers Rich :D :D :D :D

@ dsl. t4 for sale after xmas have to sort niggles first.

@ rich, yes took it for a good run tonight its fine to use so will be in work with me tomorrow. come and have a drive.

question now is DO I CUT WINDOWS IN IT ?

No, No, No,

Take the sliding door off the white hightop in your yard and put a window in that and run it on the syncro. Keep the original door safe. You won't need any other windows. Also easier to insulate.

Cheers Rich

no plans to cut it guys. going to build a v-lux replica so i can confuse the s**t out of him when he gets back.

on a serious note it has a full bulkhead which is not ideal for what i want from it. has anyone removed one of these without damaging either the van or pannel.

there is a couple of threads on here somewhere of people doing it. From memory its drilling out spot welds all the way round. But then you are left with 1/2" razor sharp lip all the way around, which i think they hammered back flush with the van
