Autosleeper query

Hi,
In the roof of my 1988 hightop there is a 3 core cable, 3x 1.25m2. It starts in the high level trunking somewhere in the region of the wardrobe, continues towards the front, across the cab roof and ends above the side door. As it is taped to the metal roof, under the overcab floor, I'm pretty sure it's been there since manufacture and not added by the previous owner who didn't do any mods. I did think it might have been for a built in charger but the wiring diag. says that uses a 2 core cable.
Was going to use it for an additional 13amp socket but need 2.5m2 for that.
Anyone any thoughts?
Don

Hi,

It is what I would call domestic cable ie 240v,brown & blue +green/yellow in white sleeve.
I am sure it has been there since 1988 cos it is across the cab roof and nobody has been 'there' except Autosleeper and me.

hmm I'm not sure but those colours are pretty new
in 88 it would have been green/yellow, black and red. Unless the newer colours were available...hence me being unsure

The colours changed for the UK in 2004 - so the cable is either continental as they were already the 'new' colours or was placed there at least from 2002ish onwards (I would have thought).

The colours of 'cables' changed in 2004ish but the colours of internal cores in 'flexible cords' changed donkeys years prior to that (but I don't know exactly when and can't be bothered to find out)
