Hello,

you can find some wiring diagrams here:

http://www.club80-90.co.uk/pages/downlo ... eneral.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I think the lighting circuits I found in those are for US vans, which I think is different (might be wrong about that). I can scan pages from Haynes for you tomorrow if it'll help -

Starting with you brake lights you have a short somewhere clearly - this wiring starts at the master cylinder - I'd start there, and work your way back. I've seen the loom in the dash damaged before, resulting in shorts.

It's possible the short is in the engine bay too - there's a white circular connector in the little black box which you can undo - as far as I remember the lights get fed through here too - you might have a problem in there.

What do the connections at the rear lights look like? You might conceivably have a problem there - it daisy chains from one to the next.

As far as the feed to the side lights go, it's a case of tracing that back too, but it sounds like you just need to trace wires back and try and find a bad connection.

As always - it's a good idea to clean up all your earths while you're there.

Good luck finding your faults

Ewen

I still use bug diagram to save time as colours hadn't changed on the lighting or indicator circuits on T25s. In fact I laminated mine and keep it in my Haynes manual in the van. Handy.

http://www.vintagebus.com/wiring/1302_f ... socket.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - should save you some grief :D

Many here though: http://www.vintagebus.com/wiring/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hi all
Just an update on my lighting issues with sometimes one side working then not then opposite side working .
Tried all I could then got a auto electrician round , turns out the loom in the engine bay had melted itself to the exhaust underneath giving the faults above different supply as van moved along up and down etc .
So it's now remade off and clipped clear .
Keep an eye on yours .
Cheers Steve
