Fibreglass Interior Roof

Hello All,
I have removed the old roof lining from my fibreglass high bay.
The original glue has left a yellow sticky residue on the inside of the roof.
I want to remove this before re-lining the roof.
So far I’m having some success with hot soapy water, but wanted to know if this combined with elbow grease and patience is the best way?
I don’t want to use anything else that risks damaging the fibreglass,
Please let me know if you have any other suggestions,
P.S – I tried duct tape with no success

Try acetone. ( try with some of your / wife's / girlfriends nail varnish remover first before you buy a big can)

Lol - you might as well say "seal the windows and light a bong" - it won't remove the adhesive but you won't care afterwards anyway
Seriously though, acetone will probably do it but you do have to careful with solvents and glass fibre lest you get a reaction.

true
yes acetone, thinners whatever you use dont saturate the area, .you should be ok its more if your through the gel coat or surface and the solvent gets into the fibreglass thast problems arise, though in this case your gluing not prepping for paint so I woiuldnt really worry at all
