I have a i 1981 air cooled. The window in the sliding door is a fixed piece of glass. Somone on E bay is selling a sliding window for a t25. Are they interchangable or are there lots of different types?
Thanx Trunkster

I could be wrong, but I think it would be for the wall opposite the sliding door, assuming the bus isn't a twin-slider of course.

I have thought this myself. Neither of my windows are in at the moment. But both openings are single skin metal so surely it's just a matter of using the correct seal?? Jon.

You should be able to tell by the front pane overlapping the rear one so that it doesn't drive the rain in whilst driving forwards.

early (long handle ) slider has a bigger window than the late door (short handle)

fixed panel window is larger thean the late sliding door window.

i originally thought theearly sliding door window was the same a fixed panel(opp slider) window , but having tried to fit one recently it seems there is a few mm in it,

so to recap

early/late slider different length
sliding door/ fixed panel different length
near side /offside sliding windows are different as the open the same way( to rear of van) - however you can strip a sliding window and swap it side to side!

I quite clearly said "I think", which means I don't know for certain. Sorry for confusing you, billybigspud.
