Advice on Coolant pipe replacement...

Was wondering if any body can give us some advice...

I have finally decided to 'splash out' and spend a little bit on the van..I have a full set of rubber hoses and stainless steel pipes from Brickwerks..!!...(must say - all the bits supplied look excellent quality.. :D )

I don't really see swapping the hoses in the engine compartment much of as difficulty (as iI managed this when a swapped out the JX for the AAZ).

What my question is how difficult is the replacement of the 'front to back pipes' ie.. does the fuel tank need removing? Is there anything else in the way?...I it easier to cut them out..??.... :?

Or ....As I intend to do it by meyself on the drive at home, would it be more sensible to take it in and let a garage with better access equipment do it..?? (Unless there's any North Devon owners who could assist.... )

Any suggestions would but most welcome in helping mer make a descision...

Thanks Keiron

You wont need to drop the fuel tank. The job will be a lot easier,if you can get the van up in the air.

Kev

Haver you a plan...??...

Rob

Thanks for that, getting the van up in the air is my biggest problem - all i have is a jack and ramps and a sloping drive.. :( ...i guess it must be quite possible to work with the one side lifted to a sensible height...?? :?:
