hi all my interior cupboards etc are a bit old fashioned so im going to rip them out and start afresh ! whats the best way to go make my own or get them from ikea etc ? any ideas , pics etc would be a great help thanks in advance jeff

Firstly is it currently a homebrew interior or a professional conversion? If it's the latter then you could de value the van massively by ripping out the interior. So a refurb may be the way to go.

If it's a homebrew conversion then do whatever you want. The great part is being able to customise the van to your specific needs.

I've seen vans with Ikrap units in them but to me it always looks cobbled together. Personally I'd go for home build but it depends how handy you are at hammering screws in.

Yeah I'd be inclined the same way. Units chopped down and shoe horned to fit always look a bit naff in my opinion.

You can be a lot more creative if you're building your own from scratch.

My recent humble attempt (obviously none T25) from scratch in a bare panel van.

this is my effort done with units that i shoehorned together

looking good ! my hob and sink sit under a 10mm work surface cover thing but because its so thin the screws have broken it up . was thinking about putting a 28mm worktop from b&q and having a gas strut to hold it up

is that work top fiited down or does it raise for the sink and grill ?

fitted down as the rear of the kitchen is built off of it. i am going to put in a slim line smev flush unit when my money tree grows back.
will just cut it open in the work top and into the carcasses and box it in inside them. thats the plan anyway
have a look at my 'pics of the devon thread', it is in there i think how i did it.

not as descriptive as i remember but any questions just ask. mearnsy on here did a similar thing but put the fridge between the cupboards
