vw t25 diesel gearbox problem

my van is stuck in 5th gear..... it will go in to all gears but every gear is a 5th gear..... does any1 have any ideas what it could b and could it be repairable?????? thanx matt
get someone to sellect all gears with engine off whilst you check and make sure the seklector on the box goes to different positions
disconnect the gear linkage at the box and try to select another gear .
if they still the samer then you need a box rebuild/ replacement box
