We just picked up our van yesterday and are trying to find out what make the roof is. Have been googling but can't find another like it.

Any ideas?

Looks a bit like mine? I've got a receipt from 1997 from Autocraft Motor Caravans of Chesterfield for fitting a "VWT2 hightop" £400. The receipt makes it sound like it was a replacement for the original Autohomes hightop because is mentions re-fitting the existing windows and roof-vent?

Thanks for the info Boxy. Your roof is the same as ours. Still no closer to finding the manufacturer but I think we'll get over it!

its the interior that will show more!

but many are home built or made from different sources- interior/roof/ windows ect

with volvo seats perhaps its a volvo conversion , or pehaps an irish one as the dash tidy is on the rear floor!

If you Google Autocraft Motor Caravans they are still trading, you could try asking them?

It's a DIY job so no help from the interior -although knowing they're Volvo seats is useful!!

Have had a look at their site and all it says is 'GRP Hightops', but no other info...

So am assuming it's just a generic hightop that any conversion company could have used?

oh! - and the dash tidy is now in its rightful place... on the dash... making it tidy.
