Re-spray pics

Well it took some doing, 5 weeks without the van in total. One of these the paint sprayer was on holiday but the other 4 he was full time on it. I helped out where i could for a couple of weekends of sanding, it was quite therapeutic and nice to contribute.
The previous paint had to be removed as when it was re-sprayed previously the undercoat hadn't been given enough time to cure so it was like sanding putty when you got past the base coat. Luckily the metalwork was spot on with no rust.
Part way through sanding, couple of windows still to come out and quite worrying at this stage.

Felt a lot better seeing primer going on, started seeing the benefit of all that sanding down.

I brought the handles and bumpers back home to 2pk respray, came out pretty well.

Very happy with the outcome, shame about the lack of sunshine this weekend but hopefully you can see the result.

I would recommend the guy that sprayed it, he can be frustratingly negative sometimes but the job was a lot bigger than he first expected and he is quite anal, which is a good thing
Itching to go camping now
