Michelin no longer do that size, looks like Toyo about as good as it gets, you could go back to 185R14Cs they are fine on the alloys, just slightly more chance of kerbing them

there's also Nankang - used to be made by Yokohama, but 95H is right on the limit as fair as load index goes I reckon - just thought I'd mention these anyway...

I've got those Forceum tyres on Rob....I can't give much of a verdict as I only fitted them yesterday.
Good wide and attractive tread pattern, the tyres look a lot more expensive than their very reasonable price tag.
I think the Semperits are about the best brand in that size but as you say, the choice is getting very limited now.
I know Simon (Brickwerks) had the semperits in a few months back....whether they are still available?

What about Continental Vanco 205/80 r14 - they are only slightly bigger than standard - a good JX won't have problems.
Semperites are still available (over here anyway).

Hello all,
I have the Nexen tyres on my van as summer tyres. I think they have quite a high load rating also which is good to know. So far I have been happy with them. That said, the old summer tyres were so terrible (old and worn) that anything would have been an improvement... It interesting to compare to the 185 winter tyres I run around on also, the extra width gives so much more grip but makes the steering about twice as heavy (thank god my late Caravelle has PAS

). Of course if I run the summer tyres in the winter they have no grip at all!
Hope you manage to find a good set for your van.
Tom.
