Lhd headlights

We own a left hand drive westfalia with head light adapter stickers fitted. To avoid fitting the stickers everytime they come off we were thinking of buying some rhd headlights and simply swapping them over. Is it that simple any advice welcomed

If you've got round headlights go for it....however if you've got square headlights then it will be an expensive change as RHD square lights command high(£200+)prices.
You can get new round RHD headlights from Brickwerks:

Then do the headlamp upgrade modification mentioned in the Wiki.
However it's simpler and a hell of a lot cheaper just to use beam benders.
Brickwerks sell ones that don't fall off.

Or make your own with masking tape.

If they are the square/rectangular ones then yes..straight swap.
Yours are worth (with grille) about £160.00 but R/H/D ones will set you back another £80 on top..around £240 if you can find a set.

Hi, I've got the same query as Schill (mine's a '89, LHD, with rectangle headlights), but I was wondering, rather than paying out £200+ for a new pair of t25 VW headlights or having to drive around with beambenders permanently stuck on, does anyone know of another (and cheaper!) make or model you can use instead?
Thanks for any help
James

yes there are alternatives..
Austin Maestro headlights...
But like all things not standard you have to be prepared to
make them fit
you could consider roundys?

Austin Maestro....hummm, I guess if they're a bit reluctant to be fitted in, it's nothing a hammer couldn't sort out! Is that what you've got in? Thanks Kevtherev
