Hello,

I'm starting to, for some reason, to feel the need to get some nice alloy wheels on my motor..

I really like the look of these..

Are they compatible? Would it be much work to get them on?

or

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A3-A4-A5 ... 673wt_1396 Think the profile on the types is probably a bit too much(little) on these

You'll need spacers, longer front bolts and rear studs as well as the centre bore machining out to approx 66mm.

When you've shelled out for them the ride quality will be terrible and unless they are genuine Audi wheels they'll be made from Malaysian cheese so will probably crack when you go over the 1st pot hole!

My advice is forget it and get some alloys more suited to a T25....and no bigger than 17's.

Those two links Titus has posted will help no end. :)

OK I think I'm getting a better understanding of all this now..

However, do I need to stick 15" or less (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Original-VW-P ... 738wt_1178) This guy is saying these 17" will fit on a T25.

I'm also thinking of lower the bus slightly, so I don't want to come into clearance problems..

Thanks loads for you help!

Just because someone says alloys will fit it doesn't mean they actually fit.
