Hi all,

Sorry if this is in the wrong category - I couldn't find anywhere to put it in the technical section.

Had my bus MOT'ed a couple of weeks ago - when the garage submitted the results online, the system crashed. As a result, I had one advisory (which was that the system had crashed).

However, I have now had a letter from the DVLA that the chassis number from the MOT does not match their records, and they have asked for confirmation of the chassis number from the vehicle... which I cannot find.

Please could someone help (it's a 1983).

it is either on the door pillar on a plate, and or on the front o/s outrigger stamped into the chassis, just behind the front wheel, where the outriger type bit of the chassis joins the jacking point , facing the rear of the van
