Hi all, the holes either side of the van at the front of the upper bed, are these there to take some sort of safety bar so little ones cant fall out.? If so does anyone know where i can get one or any other ideas as to what i can put in place.
cheers

unlikely to find one second hand, you could probably get a bedguard from Argos and make it fit

Wondered what they were for myself...?

Not having any kids I guess I can just ignore them.

What about the studs on the board below the rear seat?

That extra shelf thingy is something Ade had made up............. yes I know envy when I see it

VF last year, Ade very kindly let me have a good snoot around his van and he's added some very clever and well thoguth out after market bits.......

like the blacked out curtains, cos the Germans in their infinate wisdom like waking up with the birds at 3 am when the sun comes up!!!!

I too have sewn in black-out material onto my curtains now and the difference is incredible........ Costs are a bit steep but worth it I think.......

Also the little cuboard you see in the pic...........very well made and very usefull.

mesh is attached to the base using posh press studs,my bedguard is a later model, you can see the original fittings beneath the current fittings, the top bar is telescopic

The shelf unit is an aftermarket westy accessory and will fit either side,Dave (timbertechnician) measured it up and we talked about him making some

blackout material bought from e-bay ten quid bought enough to do the whole van (plus many hours slaving over a sewing machine)
