Door seal rubbers - Longevity Treatment?

Seeing the prices of new replacement rubbers being quite expensive, having inspected mine, they are all fine, and water tight, however, I wish to treat them to make them last longer then just leaving bare. Is there any product to treat these rubber seals? Silicon products etc?
Thanks in advance!

I have a silicone stick that you wipe them with to stop them freezing to the door.
I have heard that a smear of vaseline helps (and not just on your seals).

Thanks, that would be handy seeing at temperatures get as low as -35 here. Will look into some products via google, but still interested what members use/have tried etc.

I use silicone stick or spray, really need it here i Western Norway because it could be 5 C and sleet in the night and -15 C in the morning.
Sliding door is a bugger in those conditions, broke two handles last year...

Silicone spray is great used to use it on all military wagons when in cold climates!
