Just had a few hours in the garage.

- New battery charger fitted
- new strip light fitted
- Wheels rotated and pressures adjusted

Yesterday I went searching for an exhaust leak. Found a balance pipe on the exhaust manifold had a hole where the 2 pipes met. Easy fix. Pipe out with 2 nuts and wiggle (the pipe that is, not me). Couple of zaps with the mig and all fixed. Fuel economy should be better now it isn't running so rich. It is quite cool listening to the VR6 adjusting itself to the new running conditions. You can her the engine change tune whilst it recalculates.

New exhaust next Friday. The existing one is too short and the header pipes have numerous welds. It keeps cracking so I am getting the lot from the manifold down replaced. 3 x 12" long x 5" round mufflers will keep it quiet enough for the motorway. Should still be fruity enough.
