Got a small leak from radiator on wifes mini. Before we get new rad is it worth trying radweld or is it no good? Cheers Matt

I have used Bars Leaks before as a roadside temporary fix and ended up being fine 2 years later.
I always carry as spare bottle in the tool kit as well, just in case,
if it slows it down or stops it I will give you time to get a new rad sorted.

horrid stuff, should only be used as a get me home temp fix not a long term repair! If you do use it have the heater on full whack and hot or it can block the heater!

White pepper works pretty well on small leaks and does no long term damage. A teaspoonful or two at a time. Makes your coolant smell like a nice curry too
