Has anybody salvaged a 2wd exhaust?

Offered a full SS system from a 2wd t25. is it worth the hassle?

I'm away from home at the moment so can't crawel under both to compare.

From what I gather, Exhaust manifold from 1&3 is different. I know the exhaust sits higher, but is ithis just going to require more work and more money.

Or
Should I just pay double for a syncro one, when I need it...

Assuming yours is petrol...Mine came with a half 2wd/half syncro one, don't know why. If you want to go offroad it needs to have the proper "double cranked" front pipe, to clear the engine guard but - as in my case - the rest can be 2wd inc. silencer saddles.
It's just a little low at the rear, but I have yet to rip it off (probably shouldn't have said that!)
If it's a bargain price then why not - it gets you on the road and can still be sold on later. The syncro ones are so much dearer 'cos of far lower demand and the extra bends make them harder to make well so they fit correctly.

Cheers, it is a 2.1dj. Don't go off road, only the odd beach and muddy field, so it sounds like it could be a good choice.

Mine is fine, just trying to build a garage full of spares, my van has had 1700 trouble free miles so I'm starting to find money in my wallet!

:ok

Just looked at your garage pic - you were parked up opposite Max, Doug and me at VF. Very tidy van!
I saw yours has got a pukka syncro exhaust, I'd like to get mine back to syncro spec but as you say the s/s is a fair whack and mine is not a Baxter's system, so I can't buy just 2/3 of it :(
