Took some fiddling but here are the mods:
Homebrew badgeless grill, nothing overly special, but home made. Wiper arms are early Passat so sit flatter against the frame.

Other mod on the big mirrors.

Now can you see it?

and high level brake light.

The eyes are fitted with ultra-bright LEDs which come on with the brakes.

I LOVE the mirror mod. What did you use for the light/lense?

The side repeaters are a custom made mould using clear cast resin with a 5 LED buld sunk into it. It's proving a bit brittle at the minute so looking for a more suitable resin. If I find some I think I might knock a few sets out to try and get back some of the cost from the 2 latex moulds and 4 resin casts it took to get the fit right...Oh, and the hours of fiddling.

Please note, the fiddleing and latex were not conected

If you do, put me down for a pair. It's great use of a dead space and solves a visibility issue too. Well done!

I have some new plastic resin on order which shouldn't be as brittle so I'll let you know how it goes.

Had someone push my pedal today, and this is withthe camera flash on.

Can be seen at Vanfest this weekend. Keep your eyes peeled round the club camping area.

Do you think your mirror led will fit the base of a set of syncro mirrors, looks similar. If so then stick me down for a set, wickedly cool idea.....
