Waterpump Issue

Hi All,

Recently purchased my first T25 Auto sleeper trident 1985 water cooled two weeks ago, and following 2 weekends and 250 miles, we love it :) the only problem I have noticed is a rotating noise (bearing wear) from what I believe is the water pump, see pic attached, if it is the pump:
Is it an easy replacement? .....I am hoping to go to the Vanfest but wouldn't risk it at the mo....

Many Thanks

Phil

welcome to the forum
You'll find a ton of information here and on the wiki
take a look around

http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... ory_id=118" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

easy done in a couple of hours

take the belt off and run the engine briefly to check it IS the noise

hi, welcome

lower right hand nut of three is hard to get at on pump flange depending on range of tools you have. you can take of the coolant return pipe from the right hand head that goes into the thermo housing your arrow points to by undoing two bolts on pipe flange first, pipe then just pulls out of pump/t.housing and you get more access. just add this cos I struggled first time round though there may be many other better methods.
