Are there any guidelines as to where the fuel hoses in the engine bay run. Trying to keep it as neat and tidy and short as poss without any mad bends. Can the hose be situated near coolant hose which gets hot.
Cheers x

Depends on what engine is in your van. Sorry, my crystal ball isn't working at the moment.

On a T25 fitted with a 1.9 DG engine the fuel hose enters the engine bay on the offside (RHD). It bends round over the top of the engine where it connects to the fuel pump. A short/thick length of fuel hose runs from the pump to the carb. There are no guide lines as such, the above is how VW ran the fuel hose.
