There is one right in the plaice grounds, its a caravan club one but anyone can stay. We stayed a few years ago and it is really nice if not abit fancy pants. Best book before you go though as we were lucky to be fitted in as the warden back then has a Doka and liked ours so made "room" for us

We're going to Longleat on Monday or Tuesday - not sure if we'll be using the campsite though. If I do I'll post a report about it on here.

We went took our son to Longleat a couple of years ago, the caravan club site at Longleat was full so we stayed on the Camping and Caravan club site in Devizes Wiltshire, really nice site right next to a canal and a couple of nice pubs and from memory it was only about 25 - 30 mins from Longleat

Stayed at Brokerswood last week as the Longleat site was full.
A fairly good site- clean toilet/showers, quiet country location, reasonable spacing between pitches, friendly staff, on site shop and cafe open most of the day and late on wed/sat for cheap fish+chips, nice walks in the forest park and a couple of adventure playgrounds hidden in there for kids. Price does not include a ride on the mini-train though
Not the cheapest camping in the world, but comparable to CC sites we've stayed at as non-members. It was ~£30 for the two of us, the van and a hook up.

Didn't use any campsites in the end, but spotted a few sleepy spots near longleat that I might use in the future. Also managed to stay in the centre of Bath without any issues
