Hi All,

Thought i'd share my latest work with you...

so, after having our 9 month old, rather large (26lb) little man sharing the rock and roll with us on our last trip we decided an alternative had to be had! After scanning this brilliant site and finding a post by FODTOMMO about his modification to over the cab bunk we came up with the following... it's a mixture of a couple of people's ideas.... FODTOMMO's modified tent front, ARMYPHIL's pop up travel cot and my own "safety wall" invention... have to contain the strong little fella somehow!!

The "wall" is made out of thick hardboard, padded with a camping mat and covered it stars and moons vinyl!! brackets attahced to the hardboard that slot into the home made plates that are attached to the cab ceiling and tightened once in place with the bolt... the wall stored in the back when travelling, the rest folds down with the roof!!

So, it's a little rough around the edges but i'm hoping that it's going to do the job so we all get a good nightd sleep!!

we'll see this weekend when we taker her away for another fun filled weekend!!

Cheers for the tips.. hope you don;t think it's too much of a botch job!!!

:ok

looks like it will do the job - we have a 6 month old and have been trying to figure out what we are gunna do but out camper is hitop and am worried about putting him up there as neither me or my partner can get to the back and thats where is bound to sleep so might construct something like that when hes a little older! :)

Pop up travel cot fits in a hightop!

Ours was 8 month old when we first used it. He's now two and can be trusted now in our high top with just using a bed guard
