Hi everyone,

Can someone recommend a cheapish (£50?) pressure washer that is sufficient to clean the crud from under my van?

I have a pressure washer I got from halfords or somewhere like that. Its an RAC branded one. Its pretty useless to be honest.
The fittings on the lance are made from plastic and they wear out and leak water everywhere. Plus the force of the water jet is not very strong.

Your only hope in that price bracket may be fleabay. The ones that are any good tend to be £150 plus - the rest are often like using a pump-up killaspray. I noticed ALDI are selling one. Can't vouch for its effectiveness but was reasonably priced. Karcher ones are hard to beat and sometimes they come up in special offers elsewhere.

Really?! There's a HUGE amount of muck under the van (not sure its been cleaned under there...) and I dont really fancy getting on my back and shifting under the van with a sponge!!

May be cheaper just to go to local garage that has one.

B&Q do a good selection.I reckon the £38.98 one.Might do the job..

if you are going to jet wash under the van, dont forget to cover the gas drop out vents. i did and got loads of damp crud up inside.
