Hi
Had a look a WIKI but are there any other seats that will fit into the front without having to alter the base runners?

I spent half a day clambering around a scrap yard with a tape measure trying to find some seats that would fit. Some Fords have got the same spacing but the rails are a different profile. All I ended up with was a bigger CD collection and lots of pens. Finally got some scruffy captains seats for £90.

if you have have access to steel a drill and 10.8 bolts anything is possible to fit just not with out a bit of work!

Just so long as you use 10.8s and not chocolat crap... and this was on a van that had passed multiple tests...

Come on then, I'm biting!
If I drill out my sliders, what is the next best seats to go for, taking into account slid controls, handbrake, & able to spin on seat turner thing, that looks the neatest ie nice bit of base trim that can be reattached without getting in the way?
I'm really after black Leather/vinyl look, ever-so slight bucket. Ideas?
Anything come close to that BOXY?
Cheers chaps!

I didn't want to go down the drill and bolt route so nothing I looked at was going to work. There were plenty of bucket style seats but most would have ended up too high with the slide & tilt mech still attached. I've see a van with full five point harness style recaros fitted, try looking for "rally seats" on ebay. I think because that sort of seat has got a flat base it might be easier to bodge in than something out of a normal car.
