Oil leak - Push rod seals?

Hi

I have had an oil leak ever since having a recon engine at Elite VW. As they are in Surrey and I am in Wales I kinda lunched it out. The engine was under warranty but this has just run out

I think it is the push rod tube seals but cant be sure. I can be sure that its not the rocker cover gaskets as these are fine and dry.

Could it be anything else?, Cylinder heads re-torquing?

Anyway, how difficult is it to fix the push rod tube seals? I take it that they can be done with the engine insitu? I have noticed that VW Elite have used some sort of sealer around the outer tube seals just to make sure they didn't leak. Any ideas what this might be?

Cheers folks

Hello,

Could well be the seals, as there were some about that were ok at first, then worked loose.

Do you have the zig zag springs ( one per head), if not get them, not expensive, and they do keep the push rod tubes in place!!!!!!!!!
