Hi,
Great website and community here! I'm hoping somebody might be able to kindly help me out with my request, it'd be a big help if you can

My wife and i have just purchased a T25 which we collect in 2 weeks! yay!
The interior is currently a blank canvas (has been insulated & ply lined, with currently just a row of seats inside). We shall be designing the interior ourselves,and we would be looking to have the usuals installed - Rock and roll, cabinets, grill & hob, sink, electrical sockets etc etc.

Is there anybody out there near(ish) Milton Keynes who would be willing to let me come and have a look at their van, to have a measure up and familiarise myself with the electrical requirements involved? Will happily throw a crate of beers your way for the time and advice - would be especially helpful to hear from those who may have done a decent conversion themselves. We very much have our own ideas in mind, so please be relaxed that we are NOT looking to rip off anyone else's ideas!
I work as an Interior Architect in my day job, so whilst i'm happy and confident to be doing the designing/drawings myself, i'd be passing on the production to cabinet makers & auto electricians to do the install/manufacture. I'd just like to clue myself up a little before i start the design side of things to understand what i need to include in the layout/design.
If anybody out there can help, we'd very much appreciate it. Happy to travel, but if anyone lives within an hour of Milton Keynes that would be perfect. Please drop me a line if you can help.

If you can get to vanfest I can show you a miriad of converted vans in the 80-90 club camping area
just find me on any day and I'll take you to the best examples being used in anger so to speak.

Thanks so much (again!) Kev. Yes we are new to all this but had been recommended to go to Vanfest by friends - looks great! Unfortunately the date has worked out at a tricky time for us this year, but we are going to try and go as day visitors if we can. Appreciate your help.

Thanks for that CovKid - i had actually already come across this during one of my marathon forum reading sessions - it is a really interesting thread.
What i'm after really i guess is the opportunity to carry out a mini measurement survey on a van. As i have previously mentioned our van, other then a row of seats, doesn't already have any cabinets etc installed. I'll be designing the interior, although not carrying out the actual work, which i'll be passing on to cabinet makers. i'm just unsure of some of the angles required for my drawings so am wanting to measure someones cabinets up and familerise myself a little more with certain aspects. Thats about it really.
So if anyone out there can help, please get in touch. Beer tokens or cash alternative happily provided.

I'm in Northampton and you are more than welcome to come and view our van, I spent all last winter rebuilding the interior and lining, so by all means pop over.
