Well baldwelder was my first ever customer, here is some pics of the work done :ok

Well i had a cab step to do and i decided to replace it with 2 pieces as per original. It also turned out much easier to do it this way than just one piece and trying to get the curves right.

The battery tray was rotten. I forgot to take pics during and finished though

Both rear quarters and lower rear corners were needing replacement. The quarter panel repairs were meant to be the short style but it turned out they were full of filler. So full quarters it was. I also had to do repairs to the c posts and the inner arches.

This would have been the size of the original repair panel if it wasnt for the filler.

Filler in the arch. Now becoming the norm.

I also had to remove the sliding door runner to repair underneath it (twin slider) and a repair just above it near the window.

Sliding door runner removed, plenty of rust under it. It also turned out it was set on an angle. (more in a min  )

Rot cut out and replaced

And onto the other piece of rot.

And all back together

Remember i said about the door runner...........
Well when i took it off i took measurments to ensure it went back on. However it was 5mm out from front to back and lower than the other side runner.
So i took measurments from the other side and set the door runner to that. It turned out that when i set the runner to that the door was off. I tried it and the door gaps were wrong and the door wouldnt close right, no matter how much i adjusted it. I spent nearly a whole day on it
In the end i set the runner to how it was and the door shut fine. Dont know what it is but im guessing something is twisted somewhere along the lines

And finally a pic of my unit. I know its not massive but its a start and i can get hightops in
Note also the blunderbus in the background.

Thats cool jim :ok .
I had a chance of a corner of a shared unit to work on my van , problem was I could get the van in but the ceiling was to low to get it to a good height to work under it.

Good luck with the buisness :ok
