2.4 and 4.8w solar panels advice

if I was using the internal rear cab light for reading while camping in evenings, would either of these solar panels charge me back up again?

No. Not until the sun comes up in the morning. :?

And then you would need to have them in series to get you up to around 20v before the solar panel controller. Most 12v panels put out 21v and above before the controller.

Are you sure you are talking Volts and not Watts?

also would a 4.8 w be enough to charge a mobile phone each day even with clouds?

You'd probably manage that.

And maybe a reading light for a few hours if it's a lower power LED, say 3w.
