hello,i am thinking of a interior refurb of a 86 holdsworth vision as its looking a bit tatty&tired and was wondering what options i have,as all the interior has been carpet lined (floor,walls,ceiling) i was wondering if its possible to get it replaced all over or would a deep clean do the trick,if so is there anyone who offers this sort of service?also the front seats are in a poor way so is it more cost effective to replace them or re-upholster them?what options are there other than covering the interior with carpet like material as really i would like something more clean and easy to maintain,i.e just sweep and wipe every where and not use a hoover,cheers for any thoughts

I have just had a full interior refurbishment done at a specialist upholsterer. He made me a full set of curtains and cushions (including the L shaped one) and re-trimmed the all-round shelf. He reupholstered the front seats and replaced the floor covering with good quality lino. The trouble with the cloth that Richard Holdsworth used for his seats was that they couldn't stand harsh wear and tear. He used the same cloth on all his vans, and it is no longer available.

A good "deep clean" of the carpeting round the top will work wonders and certainly a LOT easier and cheaper than replacing it all. Use a 'Vax' type vacuum cleaner for very good results and Vanish or Febreze on tough stains.

They usually need to see the vehicle and let you choose colours, materials, etc. before they quote you a price, but I found them to be very reasonable, and they used expert workmanship doing the job.
