Am I missing somethings off the sliding door that should contact with the light switch?
If so are they easy and cheap to get or should I make something?

No, the switch is the little black square push in button on the 'B' pillar shown in your second picture. You must have another problem. Does the cab courtesy light work?

Yeh the light stays on. On the door where the hole and screwhole? Are they line up near the switch. I'll try gluing a block of plastic to the door and see if that cures it.
But was just wondering if something should be attached to the door that pushes the switch on B pillar to cause it to o/c?

Oh I see; it's not that it doesn't work at all - it's that it won't turn off when you slide the door shut? There seems to be a plastic moulding that fixes to the door. You can just make it out in this picture (click to see image full size)

unfortunately my van's not here for me to get a better picture :( It's not a flat piece of plastic either. It's shaped like a boot and protrudes slightly if my memory isn't playing tricks on me. Is there another t25 nearby that you could have a quick look at?
