It varies but I read 35 to 40 degrees from the horizontal. Haven't actually tried it !!

i think my twitch muscle starts warning long before that. some vids do show them at crazy angles.

sure it nearly goes over at one point.

A vivid demonstration of why you don't want a load of crap (like spare wheels) up on you roof.

Notice that it's a Westy doing the barrel roll and the top survives!

Interesting little article that. They say that the centre of gravity is basically where the badge is on the grille (The CoG of anything has 3 axis but thats another thread altogether) and this would be higher /lower depending on the roof/interior/windows. An empty tin top would have the lowest CoG for a van and a SiKa would have the lowest of all. What makes me uneasy is when you are rocking on diagonally opposite wheels and the front dips down ....... parrrrp !!

Just how steep is that descent at 2.09? It looks like it's stood on it's nose

A dash-mounted inclinometer would seem to be a good idea for anyone having fun off-road? Older Shoguns have a neat 3-instrument pod with a decent false horizon. (plus an external temp and adjustable altitiude meter)
