was wondering if there was some way of adjusting were the gear lever sits :?
some people mention hitting their knuckles on the dash when putting it into 2nd gear??
mine sits about 8 inches from the dash when in 2nd but nearly disapears under the seat when putting it in 3rd!!!
surely there is some way of getting a happy medium??
anyone help me on this one please??

General rule is that when you're in neutral, gear lever should be more or less upright and linkage on gearbox (which is splined and held with a nut) should also be vertical. Thats a kind of default setting if it helps. Could be that linkage on box is one spline out - possibly.
