Hi All,

Does anyone know the maximum payload for a T3 Panel? I want to collect some roof tiles that I think weigh around 800kg.

Thanks,
Stu

Well if it's any guide, in my westy I had 40 breeze blocks, 20 house bricks, 3 bags of sand, 3 bags of cement, 3 lengths of wood.

It was low very low and the brakes struggled a little. Take it steady and watch your temp gauge

Mine gets used twice a week to cart furniture for a charity shop with seats down. Often have it full - 3-seater settee, books, coffee tables, lamps, all sorts. Only time it struggles is if its mostly books....

Just received a timely reminder to close this off. I completed the collection (which in the end was down a long and bumpy dirt track flooded in places!) without too much of a problem. Had to slip the clutch to get going on hill starts, but no overheating and generally all good. One thing... my suspension (shocks need replacement to be fair) dropped a lot:

I love the new stance though ;-)

Worst part was that my dodgy starter motor (on the list!) played up whilst stopped at the yard in the middle of the woods, in the middle of no-where - thankfully it sorted itself out though else I'd have been stuffed!

My project has reached a point where I won't hopefully need any more heavy load lugging, so the van goes back to being a pampered classic rather than a workhorse! :D

Cheers,
Stu
