Naughty putting a wanted hre I know, I'm aware some of the educated elite Syncro owners might not check there..

What's up? If it's just wear at the onion then a bit of weld to build it up, dress it down and good as new.
I'll weld it, you get your filing arm in gear

Thanks for the offer Ian!
I can actually get a replacement for that part for a Diesel
assume this is the bit you are talking about?... Going to be replacing all the rear bushes etc when I get a rod..
It is my later bash plate, it extends slightly further at the front, and my petrol rod was bent to avoid this on the early one, mission impossible to bend and keep a the shift correct!
Am planning to pop over when I get a chance, got some other fun bits for you, and a chance to star in a video

Appealing to my vanity eh? It's winner everytime
I can sleeve the alloy cup if it's a recoverable state, with a quick turnaround by appointment. I'm looking to remake these for both petrol and diesel, for rather less than that price.
I meant welding any wear on the steel rod but since you need a diesel one to get your conversion A1...the search continues.

i had the same trouble on the doka when i converted from petrol to diesel. the fact that it wouldn't engage 4th properly and 2nd to a lesser extent is the reason it now pops out of 4th gear. i did re bend the linkage. it can be done effectively if you carefully draw around it before bending and make sure the front 20cm ( that isn't an exact figure, but it needs to be pointing in exactly the same direction for re attaching to the front piece) and the cup position end up in the same place once you have re placed the bends to accommodate the new armour.
if you have already tried and now don't know what the original shape was, then finding the proper one is a good idea.
but i do remember asking about this a while back and i think that the linkage is syncro specific and not just a diesel one.
someone please correct me if i am wrong.
