Hi all does anyone have any website addresses for practical details for fixing units DIY interiors.
I am planning to refurb my homebrew interior which was done by the previous /previous owner and tired. Partly because I dont want to spend too much and not really seen anything i like whilst browsing the web for pics etc.
Also lincs to plans /section of t25 dimension.

I'm very much not an expert, but having done a bit of research, if there's one thing I'd avoid myself it would be using units from domestic suppliers. The ply is massively thick. Instead I'd look at getting the thin ply that's used for marine/camper fit outs. If you're happy designing, you can get it cut to spec for not too much money, and do design where the dimensions of doors etc are the right scale for a van (rip off a pro design if you need to!)

Fron what I've seen of domestic kit based DIY, they look massively wrong in a van. Even as far as twee panel inlays, like some sort of mobile 1980s semi-detached barrett starter home. Yuck.

We are just working on our design for our new refurb of the van, as it's just the 2 of us we are planning to have a fixed bed so any tips would be great.

There's some units on 'sketchup' 3D warehouse, all can be measured!

there's:
1. 2xWestfalia's - same but different colours
2. Buddy seat for above
3. One by Sterling as can be seen on their website!
4. 3 seater jobbie with a unit across the back of the seats (pop-up TV!)

Download sketch up and these 3d drawings, learn the basics on youtube, then measuring is easy.

Useful for all on here though.

I've tried searching on google, T25 forums, Samba etc and can find plenty of pic's but no dimensions or plans except for a couple of PDF's - one is in german, the other I didn't like the layout. Eventually came across these on the 3D warehouse and was surprised that Sterling's is on there!

That's the trouble with the spammers - they dig up ancient posts to post their links in, their post gets deleted and you look foolish resurrecting a thread!

I must update with a photo of my seat/bed base.

I do like the birch ply' , looks really well, better than the ones i've seen at some shows and youtube!

Still got to do mine yet and a mates Vito -I was going to use standard ply' and paint it but birch ply it is!

Where did you end up fitting the coolbox? couldn't see it on the last photo's

Sorry the late reply, just after noticing your last post. I fitted the cool box in the middle press connected to a 12v socket. We have a Khyam awning so can easily be removed from the press into the awning making things handier.
