I've forgotten

Silly me! I have had some starting problems with my 1990 AutoSleeper, 2.1 ltr Camper. I think I've sorted it out in that it might have been my auxiliery battery draining away the charge from my starter battery. To isolate it, I took out the 20 amp fuse (yellow), and the 30 amp fuse (green) from the positive lead to the aux battery, but I'm not precisely certain which 'sockets' (in line in the two leads that go to the positive pin of the battery) they go back into. One of the sockets has yellow wire trim going into it, so presumably that's for the yellow 20amp fuse, while the other socket has blue wire trim going into, so that's for the green 30amp fuse? Is this correct? I would presume that there should be yellow to yellow, or green to green, but here it might be green to blue? I'm a wee bit confused, and I was silly to not note where the fuses were originally placed!

Ah well...

Can you not tell by the size of the cable - thin = 20, thicker = 30?

Well..., I've had a look at my wires, and the yellow trimmed wire is the thicker, while the blue is thinner. So the 30 amp green might go into the yellow wire, while the 20 amp yellow goes into the blue wire. That's colour coding then?!

People don't normally colour code wires to fuses.

I guess you're right. I'll go by wire thickness. Ever upwards!
