Got a 3 way fridge in the van - despite a few trips, not actually used it. Tested it on gas the other week for about 4 hours but it did not get to what I would consider 'cold'.
Does the fridge efficiency changes the lower you get on gas (start the jokes about it not working when the gas runs out )
The manual I down loaded suggests you can make ice.. Really?
Going camping in it shortly so I will try the 240v whilst charging the battery. But anyone have any handy hints about how to get the best use out of it? and what safety issues to look out for.

Fill it with beer.

gas is the way to go. take it out and turn it upside down for a few hours then turn it back again.give it a few more hours to settle and then try it again. a friend of mine that works in refrigeration told me this and it worked with ours. got it going for the first time tonight and it was ice cold.
