Wind deflectors: How/where to fit the clips?

Hello

I am hoping someone give me a little advice. I bought a while ago the wind deflectors that are available on the forum. (Tinted ones). Firstly I have emailled the original seller but with no reply so hence I am asking all. I also searched the original posting but no ansa there either.

I fitted them initailly without using the supplied metal v-clips - largely becasue I could understand where or how they fitted. I think I now need to use them as the deflectors have started to drop down (probably due to the heat). Can any one advise on how to or where these fit in to the window channel?

Do they go in before or after sliding in the deflector? Which way up do they go?

Thanks a million

Lee.

put the clips on top of the deflector, U upside down , about 10" apart and push it up.

Cheers for the advice. I will sort that out this weekend. Hopefully that will keep them in place.

I had no problems with the drivers side but the passenger side would slip down. Could be the rubber is not so good that side. Solved the problem by superglueing the metal clips to the rubber, and then superglueing the plastic deflector to the metal clips. Obviously only put glue on the outer side of the deflector so it doesn't stick to the glass when you wind it up to hold deflector in place while glue dries. Did this about 3 weeks ago and it has worked so far, even at motorway speeds. Find these deflectors really usefull, especially when the sun is low as they're tinted.
