fuel guage

On my 2WD the fuel reading when low was a bit hit or miss due to the 2WD fuel tank design.
Is the Syncro tank gauge more reliable or just the same?

gauge isn't inherently innacurate, in fact I find it pretty good, I know I can run to just below the last white line without running out, but you may notice fluctuations going round corners more than the 2wd which is sensitive to inclines iirc
the sender plug is prone to corrosion though which can affect the reading, mine went low following coast to coast but a strip and clean with contact cleaner and all was back to accurate, be aware that the conatcts corrode and can break up when trying to unplug, which can mean sender replacement or soldering next to a fuel pipe

My guage has somehow settled to reading half full when the tank is full so when it reads empty I still have 35l in the tank quite worrying but as all these things is ok when you get used to it

must give it a clean and see if it sorts it out
