I know i know more about insurance sorry.... but this time its specifically for under 25 yr olds!
I'm 23 and last year we used directline, and was a named driver on my dads policy, it cost around £350 fully comp, i was happy with that, its been off the road for the last 6 months and now there quoting me £650!
obviously all the comparison sites are "pooh" because they dont now what a syncro is, or they think my reg doesn't exist. Ive gone through some of the other insurance threads and gynwoods and adrian flux have popped up, and they wont insure me on it because im..under 25 ffs!
any other young un's on here that can suggest anything please?
Thank you all!
P.s i did some quotes on my own and they were all in the £2000 region so they can do one!

try justkampers, I'm paying £305 4years NCD and I'm 24.
But, the last few months have seen a huge rise in my premiums, my car insurance company now want over £3000 a year, up from £800.
Saying that, I was before her majesty's court service on a speeding charge of 6pts recently

I rang justcampers, and ended being offered £506 fully comp, with me as the main driver and my dad as the named. That was with highway classic insurance. I was astounded how much cheaper that is that everybody else!! I have no ncb which doesnt help but still really happy with that quote, so i accepted it with euro breakdown cover/insurance, courtesy car etc, really happy with the service on the phone, and it was over in a flash. Its so nice speaking to someone that knows what a multivan syncro is too!
good shout bikermike

No probs, good to see your getting a good deal with these recent rises. It's amazing how much cheaper these vans are when compared to an average car.
I decided to get a quote for my gf, she's 27 and hasn't passed yet, £600 all in her name on my 2wd van. She was quoted 1200 on a 1.2 Polo 56 reg.
She's driving a van!!
